The Child’s Time maintains a confidential file for each case. During each visit, The Child’s Time staff will complete an observation report. This report will be a summary of the visit and will document a general review of the time spent at The Child’s Time.  As a condition of services, the director (either or both), or director’s designee, is expressly authorized to speak to attorneys or Guardian Ad Litems as needed. 

The nature of the visits is a time for parent and child bonding. The visiting parent and child should feel free to act within the visit without fear of reprisals. Therefore, The Child’s Time does not release observation reports to the parties or their attorneys.

In cases, where imminent harm or an emergency exists, the Custodian of Record may testify when called upon without service of process.
