The Child’s Time advocates for the rights of children to maintain contact with their parent and significant people in their lives in a safe and comfortable setting. Children’s well being, emotional and physical safety are our primary concerns.
SVN Membership
The Child’s Time is a member of the national Supervised Visitation Network (SVN), which provides information and standards to follow to its members. The SVN mission is “to facilitate opportunities for children to have sage and conflict-free access to parents through a continuum of child access services delivered by competent providers. Non-discriminatory Policy
The Child’s Time does not discriminate in providing services to children and their families on any basis, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or marital status.
Holiday Closures
The Child’s Time is closed annually on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the Fourth of July, and closes early (1:00pm) on Halloween and New Year’s Eve.
Security
Safety is very important while providing or taking part in our services. Therefore, The Child’s Time has several security measures in place. Our staff is trained in supervised visitation, domestic violence and child abuse and have passed a criminal background check.
Parents/Guardians sign a service agreement to follow all of the rules, policies and guidelines of The Child’s Time.
Visiting parents must arrive 15 minutes prior to and remain fifteen minutes after a schedule visitation.
The Child’s Time can refuse, suspend or terminate services to anyone if it is determined that visitation cannot be done in a safe and conflict-free manner.
