Do I have to have an appointment for my intake?

Yes, intakes are set by appointment only.

What do I need bring with me for intake?

Bring your state issued identification, copies of any court orders, VPO, and other documentation you believe would be beneficial.

Do I have to complete my intake with the other party?

No, intakes are conducted individually.

Do I see the other party before/during/after visitation?

No, you do not. We have staggered arrival/departure times and security protocols in place to ensure the parties do not run into each other while on our premises.

How do I schedule a visit?

The Child’s Time director in accordance with the parties’ schedules and the availability of the supervisors set the schedule for visitation.

Who supervises the visitation?

Supervisors all have backgrounds in child welfare and/or law and/or social work. The supervisors are trained and work under the protocols and guideline of the Supervised Visitation Network.

What can I bring to my child(ren) during visitation?

We encourage parents to bring appropriate toys (no toy guns) snacks, drinks, memorabilia, etc. While the COVID-19 virus numbers are so high, we are limiting what you can bring to snacks and drinks only.

Can I bring a guest?

The best way to ensure that a guest will be allowed in your visit is to have them included on the court order for supervised visitation. If a guest is not included on the court order, then it will be the decision of the Guardian Ad Litem and/or the custodial parent to approve guests.

What happens during supervised visitation?

The visiting parent is encouraged to establish their own plan for this parenting time. Appropriate toys, games, and/or crafts (no toy weapons), food or snacks, gifts (unwrapped or in gift bags), and/or memorabilia may be brought to the visit (subject to the staff’s inspection). One trained supervisor remains, physically, with the family throughout the visit.

Our rooms are set-up much like a family room at home. We have comfy couches, big screen televisions, Xbox gaming systems in the rooms. We have more than 250 different activities (games, toys, crafts, etc.) for children and parents to use or the visiting parent is welcome to bring their owns activities.
